The Repertory Collective confront the Banksters of Wall Street in the world premiere one-man play The Reckoning, Pecora For The Public written by Neil Thomas Proto, directed by Arne Zaslove and starring Bob DeDea. This new play for the '99%' immortalizes Italian-American Ferdinand Pecora's valiant effort to expose the malignant and deceptive practices of Wall Street's most elite financiers and bankers including JP Morgan Jr., based on actual transcripts from the 1933 United States Senate Banking Committee hearings to determine the root causes of the 1929 stock market crash. New Zealand native Hayden Tee will assume the role of Javert beginning Friday, January 29 in Cameron Mackintosh's acclaimed new Broadway production of Claude-Michel Schonberg & Alain Boublil's LES MISERABLES, now in its second year at the Imperial Theatre (249 West 45th Street). Tee comes directly to Broadway from the new Australian production ofLES MISERABLES, for which he has received wide acclaim. Earl Carpenter will give his final performance as Javert at the matinee on Sunday, January 24 before departing to star in the upcoming Manila engagement of LES MISERABLES.

The Public Theater presents the world premiere of BARBECUE, written by Obie Award winner Robert O'Hara. Directed by Kent Gash, BARBECUE began previews on September 22 and runs through Sunday, November 1, with an official press opening tonight, October 8.
