The Hawaii News Now Jazz Legends Series continues with Keiko Matsui and Lightnin' Larry Dupio presents an eclectic night of traditional and original Big Island blues. Willie K returns, electric blues guitar powerhouse Robben Ford takes the stage and the month rounds out with singer-songwriter Jon McLaughlin.

Today, LA rockers Redd Kross release the melodic sugar-rush that is 'The Party Underground an undoubted highlight from the much-anticipated Beyond the Door out August 23rd on Merge Records and a track that features a guest solo from Melvins' front man and guitarist Buzz Osborne. The song is available now on all streaming services to add your favorite summer playlists!

On August 23 Merge Records will release the much anticipated Redd Kross LP Beyond the Door. Today, Redd Kross shares Beyond The Door release details as well the title track which premiered at Stereogum and is available on all streaming platforms. Beyond the Door can be pre-ordered now on CD, digitally, and on limited-edition opaque purple Peak Vinyl in the Merge store. Redd Kross have also announced a massive fall tour with The Melvins which kicks off on September 3 in San Diego and includes shows in major markets including Los Angeles, Seattle, Boston, Philadelphia, Brooklyn and more. The iconic punk rock band, X, have announced additional dates to be added to their spring/summer tour plans. Exene Cervenka, John Doe, Billy Zoom, and DJ Bonebrake will join The Damnedfor two co-headline dates; in Chicago on May 30, as well as an appearance at the Orange County Fair in California on July 6.  Additional summer tour dates announced below will feature an exciting variety of supporting acts such as Dead Rock West, Skating Polly, Folk Ukeand the Reverend Horton Heat.  All of this in addition to the joint tours already announced with Violent Femmes in May, Squeeze in September and additional dates still to be announced in the near future!

Ben Folds and Violent Femmes have announced a very special summer co-headline tour, set to begin Sunday, July 28 at Mohegan Sun in Uncasville, CT, and continue through the first half of August.

The iconic punk rock band, X, have announced additional dates for the first leg of their upcoming spring/summer tour plans.  The first tour leg will begin on May 2 in Hermosa Beach, CA at a VIP party for the BeachLife Festival after which  Exene Cervenka, John Doe, Billy Zoom, and DJ Bonebrake will then join the Violent Femmes for a 9-date co-headlining tour starting May 6th at Humphrey's in San Diego, CA and continuing on through May 17thin St. Louis at The Pageant.In addition, X and Violent Femmes will be among the top stars at Arlington, TX's upcoming KAABOO Texas, set for Saturday, May 11th alongside The Killers, Kid Rock, Sting, Lynyrd Skynyrd, The Avett Brothers and many more. 

The one and only Violent Femmes have announced plans for a co-headline tour with the legendary X, set to get underway May 5th at Humphrey's in San Diego, CA. Violent Femmes will perform at Brooklyn Bowl in Las Vegas, NV and BeachLife in Redondo Beach, CA ahead of the co-headline dates. One of the biggest hits in theatrical history, CATS will come to Shea's Buffalo Theatre from February 5 to 10, 2019 as part of a multi-season North American tour.
