For the first-time ever, Moonlight Stage Productions will produce five musicals as part of its 40th anniversary season in 2020. The season's expansion of an additional show celebrates The Moonlight's landmark record of 40 continuous years of producing award-winning and critically acclaimed musicals at the Moonlight Amphitheatre.

The Annenberg Center And NextMove Dance Present Kun-Yang Lin/Dancers (KYL/D) in its highly-anticipated Annenberg Center debut, April 12 (8 PM) and April 13 (2 PM). Hailed for its superbly trained dancers and inventive choreography, Kun-Yang Lin/Dancers' artistry is a hybrid of Asian philosophies and Western culture infused with a fearless physicality that resonates with the soul, resulting in lush works of poetic sensibility. The New York Times writes "Lin's dances, simultaneously abstract and specific, create and inhabit worlds of their own." Obie Award winner Metropolitan Playhouse revives Dion Boucicault's THE POOR OF NEW YORK, with music from the era. The limited run from April 19 through May 19, 2019, plays at the Playhouse home at 220 E 4th Street. Artistic Director Alex Roe directs.

All are welcome at this free public event that will occur at the Harvard Ed Portal, located at 244 Western Avenue, Allston. The Harvard Ed Portal is an innovative collaborative partnership for members of the Allston-Brighton and Harvard communities to come together to share ideas and learn from one another.

Project RAu connects audiences to the idea of cross-cultural oneness through multiple national and international presentations of dance. Scored with the music of Syrian composer Kinan Azmeh, RAu focuses on the sensitive and political subject matter of human migration.  Through this collaborative work and the belief that Art is a window to the memory of experience, we shift focus from one of fear to one of understanding through our common sense of humanity.  RAu has unfolded through residencies in Boston, New York and Istanbul, The final work reflects on the international refugee crisis through a message of action, re-calculation, and caring.  As artists, our aim, at a minimum, is to provoke thought and discussion, and, at a maximum, to be a catalyst for change. To this end, Prometheus Dance has entered into a collaboration with Korhan Basaran and Kinan Azmeh, Project RAu, whose name - a take off on 'Raw' - reflects an emphasis on spontaneity, change, growth, and 'the process of becoming.'

The 2018 Inaugural NAAP (National Asian Artists Project) Gala took place on December 2nd celebrating the 60th Anniversary of Rodgers & Hammerstein's groundbreaking musical 'Flower Drum Song'. Cast members from numerous productions including the original 1958 Broadway company, tours, the 1961 film and the 2002 Broadway revival took over the Golden Unicorn Restaurant in the heart of Chinatown for a magical evening that included a spectacular eight course Chinese banquet and a sensational show.

Chicago Ave., Naperville, and Monday, September 24 at 7:30 p.m. at the Symphony Center, 220 S. Michigan Ave., Chicago.

St. Ann's Warehouse will present the U.S. Premiere of The Jungle, the immensely acclaimed Good Chance Theatre co-production with the National Theatre and Young Vic. Currently opening a five-month run at London's Playhouse Theatre on the West End, The Jungle comes to St. Ann's beginning December 4, 2018.

Great Performances and Pacific Symphony, led by music director Carl St.Clair, pay tribute to America's history with a performance of composer Peter Boyer's Grammy-nominated contemporary classical work "Ellis Island: The Dream of America," at a free, public screening in Orange County, June 29, 8:00 p.m. at the Musco Center for the Arts at Chapman University.
