Love Quirks, a Musical Fable Based on Actual Events, has announced the complete cast for the premiere Off-Broadway production which will begin previews at St. Luke's on Friday, Feb 28th.

Full casting has been announced for Life of Pi, the celebrated Sheffield Theatres production which will transfer to London this summer. Life of Pi a?' Lolita Chakrabarti's dazzling adaptation of Yann Martel's extraordinary, award-winning book a?' was awarded a string of five-star reviews when it opened in Sheffield last year.

Love Quirks is a new musical fable based on actual events as a group of thirty-somethings explore the trials and tribulations of love, friendship, and all the blurry lines in-between. Love Quirks features an original score of quirky, neurotic, and poignant songs by composer/lyricist Seth Bisen-Hersh and a script by Mark Childers filled with laughter, pathos, and lots of sexual tension. Love Quirks will begin previews at St. Luke's Theatre on Monday, February 24th with an official opening of Monday, March 16th.

Artistic Director Brigid Larmour today announces programming to complete Watford Palace Theatre's season for September 2019 - June 2020, following the world première of Mushy: Lyrically Speaking earlier this month. The French Institute Alliance Fran aise (FIAF), New York's premier French cultural and language center, today announced the 2019 Crossing the Line Festival, featuring 11 performances and a gallery exhibition from a geographically, generationally, and artistically diverse group of artists whose work transcends genres and boundaries. All performances are world, US, or New York premieres; they are united by their convention-breaking fearlessness as they confront topics from social injustice to personal demons. Many of the performances pay homage to legendary artists of our time and previous eras, while the theme of migration and its transformational effects on identity informs several others. 1812 Productions kicks off 2019 with a red curtain comedy revue Broads, curated by Jennifer Childs and starring Joilet Harris, Mary Elizabeth Scallen, and Jess Conda. From Mae West to Moms Mabley and more, Broads features classic and original material and celebrates the bawdiest, brashest, and funniest ladies from the 1920s through the 1960s. Today (16 April 2018), rehearsals begin for the West End production of Nina Raine's Consent which will begin previews at the Harold Pinter Theatre on 18 May with its opening night on 29 May 2018. Directed by Roger Michell and originally co-produced and commissioned by Out of Joint, this strictly limited 12-week run is booking through to 11 August 2018 following the 2017 critically acclaimed sell-out run at the National Theatre. A series of accompanying pre-show talks and discussions exploring ideas of justice, consent, marriage and modern parenthood will be announced at a later date.

Funny Girl Brings Chutzpah To Players Centre

According to a casting notice, the world premiere of The Royal Family of Broadway at Barrington Stage Company will be lead by Harriet Harris as Fanny, Will Swenson as Tony, and Kathy Fitzgerald as Kitty. The notice also listed Arnie Burton as Bert, Chip Zien as Oscar, Hayley Podschun as Gwen, AJ Shively as Perry, and Alan H. Green as Gil. The role of Julie has not yet been cast.
