The Olivier and Tony Award nominated musical sees its first major London revival in 30 years.



Directed by Susie McKenna and starring Olivier Award-winner Sharon D Clarke (Caroline or Change, Ghost, Amen Corner), Debbie Kurup (Sweet Charity, The Girl From the North Country) Olivier Award-winner Clive Rowe (Guys and Dolls, Carousel) and Gemma Sutton (Follies, The Rink), Blues in the Night is a scorching compilation of 26 hot and torchy blues numbers that frame the lives and loves of four residents of a downtown hotel. Featuring soul-filled songs by blues and jazz icons Bessie Smith, Duke Ellington, Johnny Mercer, Harold Arlen and many more, this will be a sizzling night to remember.

Moonbox Productions, winner of numerous IRNE and Elliot Norton Awards, is thrilled to announce its theatrical line up for the 2018-2019 season.  In November, Moonbox kicks-off its season with LOST AT SEA, a new repertory production of William Shakespeare's Twelfth Night and Donald Margulies' Shipwrecked! The Apollo Theater today announced that it will bring to its iconic stage two new performances that continue its commitment to articulating and projecting the African American narrative through arts and culture.  In October 2018, The Apollo will celebrate the 50th anniversary of "Say It Loud - I'm Black and I'm Proud," the Godfather of Soul James Brown's seminal Black Power anthem, with the premiere of Say It Loud - I'm Black and I'm Proud at 50 under the musical direction of six-time GRAMMY®- Award-winner Christian McBride.  In May of 2019, in a co-production between The Apollo, Baltimore Center Stage, and Mosaic Theater, Kelvin Roston Jr. will pay homage to Donny Hathaway in the New York premiere of the one man play Twisted Melodies.  Tickets for both productions will go on sale July 1st.
