It wasn't long ago that Joshua Henry, who recently starred in the original Chicago company of Hamilton, brought us #HamJams- his own versions of Lin-Manuel Miranda's tunes. Now he's playing Billy Bigelow in Carousel (a performance for which he just earned his third Tony nomination) and he's mixing up the music of Rodgers and Hammerstein!

Broadway's MOTOWN: The Musical and Helen Hayes nominee N'Kenge, will be the first to perform a solo show at The Pierre Hotel. She will be collaborating with Musical Director Josh Kight on piano. Broadway at The Pierre Series is thrilled to have N'Kenge back after a Sold Out performance a few months ago where she performed alongside Antoine L. Smith and Dan Domenach. Its a One Night Only event on Monday May 7, 2018 at 8:30PM in the Two E Lounge.

The New York premiere of the new play Little Rock, written and directed by Rajendra Ramoon Maharaj, begins Wednesday, May 30, 2018 for a limited run through September 8, 2018 at The Sheen Center for Thought & Culture (18 Bleecker Street). Opening Night is set for Thursday, June 14, 2018 at 7:00PM.

La Jolla Playhouse announces that married playwrights Mike Lew and Rehana Lew Mirza have been named the Playhouse's newest Artists-in-Residence beginning in April, 2018. During their residency, they plan to continue work on their Playhouse-commissioned trilogy: The Colonialism Project, as well as a new musical, Bhangin' It.

The Muny announced today the parental powerhouse that will star in the theatre's closing centennial season production,Meet Me In St. Louis, August 4 - 12. Tony-nominated Erin Dilly will star alongside real-life husband Stephen R. Buntrock as Mrs. Anna and Mr. Alonso Smith, respectively.

On Monday, April 16, Urban Arts Partnership (UAP), NYC's leading non-profit education organization, ?hosted its annual benefit at The Ziegfeld Ballroom in New York City. The Muny announced today the leading trio that will star in the theatre's centennial season production of Singin' in the Rain, June 27 - July 3. Broadway, film and television stars Corbin Bleu and Jeffrey Schecter will portray Don Lockwood and Cosmo Brown, respectively, and former Muny Kid, Muny Teen and Indiana University student Berklea Going will star as Kathy Selden.
