St. Ann's Warehouse will present the U.S. Premiere of The Jungle, the immensely acclaimed Good Chance Theatre co-production with the National Theatre and Young Vic. Currently opening a five-month run at London's Playhouse Theatre on the West End, The Jungle comes to St. Ann's beginning December 4, 2018.
Ivo van Hove's THE DAMNED to Make North American Premiere at Park Ave. Armory

This July, Park Avenue Armory presents the North American premiere of two-time Tony- and Olivier Award-winning stage director Ivo van Hove's The Damned. Starring the venerated French troupe Comedie-Francaise-founded in 1680, it's the oldest national theater company in the world-in their first New York appearance in over a decade, the production will permeate the Armory's historic Wade Thompson Drill Hall with a tale of moral corruption, militaristic machinations, and a satirical celebration of evil. Emblematic of van Hove's artistic aesthetic, The Damned is a theatrical staging of Luchino Visconti's eponymous 1969 screenplay.

New casting announced for the new National Theatre season. Full cast has been announced for Brian Friel's Translations including Colin Morgan and Ciaran Hinds, part of the Travelex season with thousands of tickets available at £15. Eric Kofi Abrefa and Thalissa Teixeira join Vanessa Kirby in the cast of Julie, part of the Travelex season with thousands of tickets available at £15. Sam Mendes directs The Lehman Trilogy, a co-production with Neal Street Productions, cast includes Adam Godley, Ben Miles and Simon Russell Beale. Full casting is announced for the award winning An Octoroon by Branden Jacobs-Jenkins, transferring to the National Theatre in a co-production with the Orange Tree Theatre. The NT will tour to 30 venues in 27 towns and cities across the UK and Ireland, for a total of 83 playing weeks over the next year. Rufus Norris' Macbeth to tour to 18 venues across the UK and Ireland from autumn 2018. War Horse returns to the National Theatre marking the centenary of Armistice Day.

For the second performance in their new space, THE READY, Red Tape Theatre proudly presents Bertolt Brecht's ROUND HEADS AND POINTED HEADS. Described as "a tale of horror" by Brecht himself, the play is a satirical parable about the fictitious country of Yahoo, where the rulers maintain control by setting people with round heads against those with pointed heads. As the flames of a race war between round and pointed heads brews, the people of Yahoo are distracted from the reality of their poverty and the oppressive forces caused by class stratification. The show is directed by Artistic Director and Jeff Nominated director Max Truax and will feature original music from two-time Jeff Award Winning composer Nicholas Tonozzi, their third collaboration after the highly successful THE MOTHER (Oracle Theatre) and last year's YERMA, co-produced with Theatre Y.'
