2017 brought so many female stories to the front of our societal consciousness, most notably stories of brave women finding their voices, standing up, supporting each other & breaking the silence. Stories that had been silenced or even ignored for far too long. L.I.P Service Productions continues to stand in support of these women- especially those in the DFW Artist Community. We know that there is more work to do.

Casting has been confirmed for Selladoor and The Marlow Theatre's production of John Steinbeck's Of Mice and Men. Taking to the stage when the show arrives at Theatre Glasgow, Monday 26 Feb - Saturday 3 March for its only Scottish date on the tour will be: Richard Keightley (The Mousetrap, St Martin's Theatre) stars as George alongside Matthew Wynn (Hamlet, The Almeida; Measure for Measure, Young Vic) as Lennie, they will be joined on stage by Andrew Boyer (Candy), Cameron Robertson (Slim), Darren Bancroft (Carlson), Kevin Mathurin (Crooks), Harry Egan (Whit), Kamran Darabi Ford (Curley) ,Rosemary Boyle (Curley's Wife), and Robert Ashe (The Boss).

Shakespeare's Globe is delighted to announce Michelle Terry's first season as Artistic Director. 2018's Shakespeare productions include Hamlet, As You Like It, The Two Noble Kinsmen, The Winter's Tale, Othello and Love's Labour's Lost. A premiere of three new plays, a national and international tour of Shakespeare and other performances on and off site are announced together with a year-long programme of events exploring the history and future of theatre censorship, as well as a series of events looking at race, refuge and refugees in relation to Shakespeare.

The playwright and philosopher Alexander Matthews presents the debut of his two witty social dramas at Covent Garden's Tristan Bates Theatre in spring 2018. 'Screaming Secrets' and 'Glass Roots' will have back-to-back runs and will form the first Alexander Matthews Season in the UK. Both plays are directed by Evan Keele with production design by Nancy Surman.

The Public Theater announced the exciting national and international line-up today for the 14th annual UNDER THE RADAR FESTIVAL, running January 4-15, 2018.

The Shakespeare Theatre Company announces an extension of Shakespeare's Hamlet directed by Michael Kahn and featuring Michael Urie in the titular role. The production will now play through March 4, 2018, at Sidney Harman Hall (610 F Street NW).

During 2018, the Finborough Theatre celebrates 150 years of the Finborough Theatre building with an anniversary selection of the best plays from 1868. The FINBOROUGH150 series opens with the first London production since 1890 of Cyril's Success by playwright and local resident Henry J. Zacar as' new comedy tells the story of high-powered lawyer Pablo Del Valle and his wife Tania, a doctoral candidate, who are working toward the so-called American Dream. After purchasing a house next door to Frank and Virginia Butley, the neighborhood's old guard, the two couples find themselves in a heated dispute about their shared fence line. First seen in Vibrant A Festival of Finborough Playwrights, the world premiere of a first play by Cornish playwright Henry Darke, Booby's Bay opens at the Finborough Theatre for a four week limited season on Tuesday, 30 January 2018.

Signature Theatre is excited to announce the cast and creative team for the world premiere of 4,380 Nights by DC playwright Annalisa Dias. The production will be directed by Kathleen Akerley (Artistic Director of Longacre Lea) and will feature Ahmad Kamal (Woolly Mammoth's KISS) as Malik Essaid/El Hadj El Kaim, Michael John Casey (Shakespeare Theatre's Othello, Folger Theatre's Henry V) as Bud Abramson/Man, Rex Daugherty (Signature'sShakespeare's R&J) as Luke/Colonel Pelissier, and Lynette Rathnam (Ford Theatre's Death of a Salesman) as Woman (complete cast and creative team bios are below). 4,380 Nights will run from January 16 through February 18 in Signature Theatre's ARK Theatre. 4,380 Nights is Signature's submission to the 2018 Women's Voices Theater Festival.

Trial, a new play by Ashley Griffin (Snow, Twilight the Unauthorized Musical Parody) and directed by Lori Petty (Orange is the New Black, A League of Their Own) is set to open at The American Theatre of Actors Beckmann Theater on January 11, 2018. This production is produced by THML Theater Company (Cagebirds, Where Angels Fear To Tread), a women-led company dedicated to engaging audiences with stories of women who survive and thrive.

MSF's Hotly Anticipated 2018 Season On Sale! Artistic Director Janice L Blixt - director of Measure for Measure and The Rover - and Artistic Associate Robert Kauzlaric - director of The Tempest - are excited to share some of the casting decisions already made for the 2018 MSF Season.
