 The nationally regarded Fulton Theatre opens its 2016/2017 Ellen Arnold Groff Studio Series with a chilling Victorian thriller in the Tell Studio Theatre. The Ira Levin mystery, Veronica's Room, runs through October 30, with two added performances on Sunday, October 23 and Sunday, October 30 at 6:30 pm.

The fully orchestrated concert is based on the 1900 novel by L. Frank Baum, with music and lyrics from the 1939 MGM motion picture score by Harold Arlen and E.Y. Harburg.

American Theater Company (ATC) announces casting for its regional premiere of Men on Boats by Jaclyn Backhaus, Jan. 6-Feb. 12, 2017, immediately following the production's acclaimed Off Broadway run directed by ATC Artistic Director Will Davis at Playwrights Horizons. In the spring, YAAjunior, YAA's new program for middle school singers, dancers and actors, will present Disney's The Lion King Experience on May 20th, 2017.

Today, Disney Theatrical Productions announced Aladdin the hit Broadway musical, will open at Her Majesty's Theatre in April 2017. Tickets will be available to the general public through Ticketek from 9AM, Thursday 6 October.

The producers of the new musical Anastasia, opening on Broadway on April 24, 2017 at the Broadhurst Theatre (235 West 44th Street), have just announced that Tony Award nominee Ramin Karimloo will star as Gleb.

Playing the oldest Von Trapp daughter, Liesl, is Paige Silvester. The role was made famous by the recently deceased Charmain Carr (may she rest in peace) in the 1965 film by the same name. Silvester hails from Sacramento, California; earned her BFA in Musical Theatre from the University of Michigan; is no stranger to the stage; and writes a really fun blog. She grew up dancing, singing, and acting, and has performed The Muny, Sacramento Music Circus, and was most recently seen in the ensemble of the Broadway 1st National Tour of EVITA.
