English Touring Theatre announces its partnership with Digital Theatre on a film of Othello for Digital Theatre Plus, the company's education platform plus a nationwide programme of engagement work, The Othello Project running alongside the UK tour of Othello. Othello, a co-production with Oxford Playhouse and Shakespeare at the Tobacco Factory, has been seen by over 40,000 audience members across 14 cities during its 2017 and 2018 tours.

The comedy will be performed at The Frontier, 1106 W. Thorndale Ave., Chicago from October 24 - November 18, 2018, with a press opening on Monday, October 29. Due to high ticket demand, additional dates, August 30 - September 9, 2018, have been added. 20,000 Leagues Under the Seas plays at Lookingglass Theatre Company, located inside Chicago's historic Water Tower Water Works, 821 N. Michigan Ave. at Pearson. This marks the second and final extension of the production.

Shakespeare's powerfully relevant tragedy comes to Notre Dame in a compelling and contemporary new staging, set in a world torn apart by jealousy, mistrust, and racial strife ? a world not unlike our own. Othello cast & company members are now available for media interviews between July 31 ? August 3, 2018; Othello opens August 14, with 15 performances through August 26.
