On Monday, July 17, 2017, Grammy nominated songwriter and singer Tracy Randall, in addition to battling cancer for the second time openly speaks about his everyday struggle with bi-polar disorder, will release, 'Be Free-Official Video', the third single from his third studio album, 'No Judgment', to impact radio.The Lavish Records recording artist Tracy Randall isn't supposed to be here. In 2006, he was diagnosed with acute lymphocytic leukemia, underwent aggressive rounds of chemo and radiation therapy, and his doctors gave up.

Playwrights Horizons has announced complete casting for THE TREASURER, the world premiere of a new play by Max Posner (Judy) and directed by three-time Lortel Award winner David Cromer (The Band's Visit, Our Town, Adding Machine). Commissioned by Playwrights Horizons, the play will be the second production of the theater company's 2017/2018 Season.  

The Old Vic today gives a sneak preview of what's to come in 2018 at The Old Vic during its bicentenary. The Divide, a new play by Alan Ayckbourn, will open at The Old Vic on 3 February 2018 with previews from 30 January 2018, following its premiere at the Edinburgh International Festival this summer.

Ehrenkranz Artistic Director Jane Moss today announced Lincoln Center's 2017 White Light Festival, which runs from October 18 through November 15. With more than 35 events presented in 13 venues throughout the city, including U.S. and New York premieres and nine commissions, the eighth annual international festival will explore transcendence, interior illumination, and faith in the human spirit, as exhibited through artistic expression across continents and centuries. The multidisciplinary festival takes its name from a quotation by Estonian composer Arvo Part: "Icouldcomparemymusic to white light, which contains all colors. Only a prism can divide the colors and make them appear; this prism could be the spirit of the listener."

George Street Playhouse announced today it will present its 2017-18 and 2018-19 seasons at 103 College Farm Road, just off of Route 1 in New Brunswick -- 2 miles from its current home on Livingston Avenue.  Formerly known as the Agricultural Museum of New Jersey, and now owned by Rutgers University, the site will serve as the interim location of the Playhouse for two years as its future home -- the recently announced state-of-the-art performing arts center -- is built on Livingston Avenue.

Rebecca Taichman has won the 2017 Tony Award for Best Direction of a Play for INDECENT.

The Guthrie Theater today announced the final two of nine productions to be offered as part of the theater's 2017-2018 subscription season: Indecent, a new play with music by Pulitzer Prize-winner Paula Vogel (How I Learned to Drive), conceived by Vogel and Rebecca Taichman; and the Guthrie's first production of the iconic American musical West Side Story, directed by Joseph Haj.
