The Daily Mail writes that Emma Williams has joined the company of Nikolai Foster's production of Irving Berlin's WHITE CHRISTMAS, which runs at the West Yorkshire Playhouse 24 November 2014 - 17 January 2015. She joins previously announced Darren Day and Oliver Tompsett in the cast.

RODGERS + HAMMERSTEIN'S CINDERELLA, the 2013 Tony Award-winning Broadway musical from the creators of South Pacific and The Sound of Music, kicks off its 2014-2015 touring season today.

Rehearsals begin today, Thursday, October 2 in New York City for The River, a new play by Jez Butterworth, starring Hugh Jackman, Laura Donnelly and Cush Jumbo and directed by Ian Rickson. The River begins preview performances in four weeks on Friday, October 31 and will open on Sunday, November 16 at the Circle in the Square Theatre (50th Street between Broadway and Eighth Avenue). The production will play a strictly limited 13-week engagement through Sunday, January 25, 2015.

Paper Mill Playhouse will open its 2014-2015 season with a Broadway-bound, world-class revival of Can-Can starring Kate Baldwin as Pistache and Jason Danieley as Aristide. Can-Can will play the Millburn, New Jersey, theater from tonight, October 1 through October 26, 2014. The official press opening night is Sunday, October 5, at 7:00pm.

Pacific Northwest Ballet Artistic Director Peter Boal and principal dancer Carla Körbes have announcedthat Ms. Körbes will retire from the Company at the end of PNB's 2014-2015 season. Ms. Körbes joined PNB as a soloist in 2005 and was promoted to principal in 2006.

Due to popular demand, the Clarence Brown Theatre has added a Tuesday, September 16 and a Tuesday, September 23 performance to the run of "Hank Williams: Lost Highway." The shows will begin at 7:30 pm in the CBT's Carousel Theatre on the University of Tennessee campus.

A Noise Within (ANW), the acclaimed classical repertory theatre company, continues its 2014-2015 REVOLUTIONary season with The Importance of Being Earnest by Oscar Wilde, which opens on Saturday, September 27 and runs through Saturday, November 22, 2014. Washington National Opera (WNO) today announced the roster of emerging artists and renowned vocal coaches engaged for the 13th season of its Domingo-Cafritz Young Artist Program. Under the leadership of program director Michael Heaston, the Domingo- Cafritz Young Artist Program continues to increase its number of performances throughout the season and expand its training regimen to include mentorship by its returning Artist in Residence, the acclaimed American soprano Deborah Voigt. Kelly Nestruck tweeted earlier today that the two musicals to be presented at the festival during the 2015 season are THE SOUND OF MUSIC and CAROUSEL. The Glimmerglass Festival has announced its 2015 Festival, which will celebrate the company's 40th anniversary. The 2015 Festival will feature Mozart's The Magic Flute, Verdi's Macbeth, Vivaldi's Cato in Utica and Bernstein's Candide.
