On August 24, 2014, NEWISES closed on Broadway. Exactly one year later, cast members from the hit Broadway musical came together on the stage of 54 Below to reminisce. In the lineup were songs of various music styles, stories and memories of their time with the show. Below, watch as Andrew Keenan-Bolger, the original Crutchie, performs 'Letter from the Refuge'- a song that wasn't added to the show until the launch of the national tour.

Well after Broadway orchestras begin their overtures, ensemble members take their dance breaks, and performers belt out their eleven o'clock numbers, the party continues at various cabaret venues throughout New York City. Single tickets for the Fabulous Fox Theatre's 2015 - 2016 U.S. Bank Broadway Series shows will go on sale Saturday, September 12 at 10:00 a.m.

As BroadwayWorld previously reported, New York City Ballet principal dancer and Theatre World Award Winner Megan Fairchild departed the Broadway revival of On The Town last weekend. Now, New York City Ballet soloist Georgina Pazcoguin steps into the role of 'Ivy Smith' for performances from tonight, August 11, through August 23. Beginning August 25, Misty Copeland will make her Broadway debut in the role for 12 performances only, through September 6.

This just in... The Tony Award nominated revival of ON THE TOWN will conclude its run on Broadway on Sunday, September 6 following 28 previews and 368 regular performances, making this the longest-running Broadway production of the show since the 1944 original.

Broadway's new musical Amazing Grace officially opens tonight, July 16, at Broadway's Nederlander Theatre (208 West 41st Street). The show stars Tony Award nominee Josh Young, Erin Mackey, Tony Award winner Chuck Cooper, Tom Hewitt, Chris Hoch, Stanley Bahorek, Harriett D. On the heels of being named the first female African-American principal dancer for the American Ballet Theatre, The New York Times is reporting that Misty Copeland will be joining the cast of Broadway's ON THE TOWN next month. After New York City Ballet principal dancer Megan Fairchild departs the show, Copeland will take over the role of Ivy for two weeks, beginning August 25th. 

The Segal Centre will close its blockbuster 2014-2015 Theatre Season with The Apprenticeship of Duddy Kravitz: The Musical, a world premiere musical adaptation of Mordecai Richler's novel and the feature film by the same name, from June 7-28, 2015. This new production boasts an original musical score by Alan Menken, the legendary Oscar and Tony winning composer of Beauty and the Beast and Aladdin, with book and lyrics by acclaimed lyricist-librettist David Spencerand direction by American theatre veteran Austin Pendleton. Disney Theatrical Productions and the Tennessee Performing Arts Center announce that the Tony Award-winning smash hit musical, NEWSIES, will make its Nashville debut with a limited one-week engagement at TPAC's Andrew Jackson Hall, May 26-31.

The 2015 Tony nominated musical On The Town announced today a brand new online reservation system, allowing for an online seat reservation prior to a ticket purchase. Beginning Friday, May 22, ticket-buyers can go to OnTheTownBroadway.com and reserve their tickets, at no charge, for an upcoming performance. Once the reservation is complete, the tickets can be paid for at the Lyric Theatre Box Office (213 West 42nd Street) up until one hour prior to curtain.

Fifth Third Bank Broadway in Cincinnati presented by TriHealth announces by popular demand, THE BOOK OF MORMON, which played a record breaking three week run in 2014 returns to Cincinnati for a limited engagement March 29 - April 3, 2016 and the smash hit Broadway musical, DISNEY'S BEAUTY AND THE BEAST will play a strictly limited engagement April 20 - 24, 2016. Ticket package holders receive priority ticket opportunities to all shows, so a season package is the best way to guarantee seats to THE BOOK OF MORMON and DISNEY'S BEAUTY AND THE BEAST. Tickets for both shows will be made available to Season Subscribers and group ticket buyers in the next two weeks.  Single tickets will be available for sale at a later date. Tickets for the West End production of Motown the Musical, opening at the Shaftesbury Theatre in February 2016, are released for sale today (15 May 2015).  With music and lyrics from the legendary Motown catalogue and book by Motown founder Berry Gordy, Motown the Musical is directed by Charles Randolph-Wright.  London previews will begin on 11 February 2016 with press night on 8 March 2016 with the show booking to 22 October 2016.  Casting and further information about Motown the Musical will be released shortly.
