Following the success of four previous West End REP Seasons, the NYT Rep Company will return to the Ambassadors Theatre for a fifth year in September with a radical new imagining of Jekyll and Hyde by Evan Placey who wrote their 2015 hit Consensual, based on the novella by Robert Louis Stevenson. The second REP show, which marks an exciting new collaboration, will see NYT present Frantic Assembly's award-winning modern-day Othello under the direction of Frantic's Associate Director Simon Pittman. Friends! The Musical is set to open preview shows at St. Luke's Theatre on October 13th, 2017, tickets on sale August 1st at Telecharge. The production will be produced by Lynn Shore Entertainment and Medium Face Entertainment and is set to be directed and choreographed by Paul Stancato. Friends! The Musical follows the wacky misadventures of six 20-something pals as they navigate the pitfalls of work, life and love in Manhattan. Ross, Rachel, Chandler, Monica, Joey, Phoebe and Gunther are back. Paul Stancato (Director) Paul Stancato is an award-winning director/ choreographer who works in theatre, film and television. Paul has been tapped to direct a project for Universal Studios Beijing. Palm Beach Dramaworks - one of South Florida's premier not-for-profit theatres - will be bringing Paul on board to helm Collected Stories by Donald Margolis for their 2016-'17 season. He recently directed/ choreographed the 2014-'15 National Tour of Jekyll and Hyde. From 2012-2014, he served as the Artistic Director for Franco Dragone's, The House of Dancing Water in Macau, China. Lynn Shore (Producer) Lynn is the writer and producer of Happy 50ish, the 2015 off-Broadway hit that played at The Beckett Theater at Theater Row. He is now co-producing the road tour with his production partners, Theater Mogul. Shore's voice can be heard on numerous commercials for Ford, Disney, The Biltmore Hotels and others. He also voiced seven characters for Sony's animated series 'Gun Parade March,' 'Demon Lord Dante' and sang three solo tracks on the 2012 Grammy Award-nominated children's album 'ABC Mouse: The Alphabet Songs.' Since landing her first Broadway role in JEKYLL & HYDE in 2000, Kelli has become the go-to staple for strong, three-dimensional women - who just happens to possess the voice of an angel. Long overdue for her Tony Award recognition, her name was called for her role in THE KING & I.

Blood On My Hands is the latest spawn from The Dahmers. The title track is inspired by Psycho and Jekyll & Hyde the song is telling the horrific story of a schizophrenic murderer trying to cope with himself and reality. As melodic and horror influenced as always but with a rawer surface this three minute slasher will find its way to your brain and cut it in half, marking you for life. The EP will contain three songs and is to be be released 14th of October 2016. The EP is released in just 200 copies in physical form and is also avalible through digital stores.

The production, which originally premiered at the Tricycle Theatre in 2012 before transferring to St Ann's Warehouse in New York in 2014, will play at the Garrick Theatre from 23 January until 27 February 2016. Red Velvet is written by Lolita Chakrabarti with direction by Indhu Rubasingham and stars Adrian Lester as Ira Aldridge.

Well after Broadway orchestras begin their overtures, ensemble members take their dance breaks, and performers belt out their eleven o'clock numbers, the party continues at various cabaret venues throughout New York City. Leading Australian theatre producer John Frost and Opera Australia Artistic Director Lyndon Terracini announced they will present a new version of the acclaimed musical thriller Jekyll and Hyde in Australia late in 2015, directed by Christopher Renshaw (The King and I, Legends!) and designed by Gabriela Tylesova (Cosi Fan Tutte, Love Never Dies).

BroadwayWorld has just learned that there will be a 25th Anniversary International Production of JEKYLL AND HYDE next year, and Broadway veterans Anthony Warlow, Jackie Burns, and Teal Wicks are currently leading a reading of the new production.

Schaeffer collaborated on the last production of Elmer Gantry at Marriott's Lincolnshire Theatre in Chicago with authors John Bishop (book), Mel Marvin (music) and Bob Satuloff (lyrics) in 1998; the show has not been produced since then. This will be the 5th production in the show's history. Running in the MAX Theatre today, October 7 - November 9, Signature's production will include several brand new songs by Mel Marvin and Bob Satuloff and a reimagined script that John Bishop worked on until his death in 2006.
