Hulu and Bleecker Street have partnered on a new output deal granting Hulu exclusive SVOD rights to all upcoming Bleecker Street theatrical films. The deal was negotiated by Andrew Karpen, Kent Sanderson and Avy Eschenasy on behalf of Bleecker Street.

The Hulu Scripted Originals content team is joining forces with Walt Disney Television to integrate development of original scripted drama and comedy programming for the streaming service with Disney's expansive television resources. With this alignment, Craig Erwich, senior vice president of Scripted Originals for Hulu, will report to Dana Walden, chairman of Disney Television Studios and ABC Entertainment. Erwich will continue to lead scripted originals planning, development and commissioning for Hulu's original comedies and dramas, and his team will remain housed within the Santa Monica Hulu headquarters.

Multi-platinum award-winning singer, songwriter and global superstar Josh Groban will release a CD/DVD package entitled, Josh Groban Bridges Live: Madison Square Garden, this Friday, April 19th, via Reprise Records. The CD/DVD package is available for pre-order now HERE.

#1 charting electronic artist East Forest (aka Trevor Oswalt) has released his collaborative song with legendary spiritual teacher Ram Dass,  “Home” via Relix. The track is featured on East Forest's new album East Forest x Ram Dass, which will be released in four chapters throughout 2019, with Chapter 2 out March 22 via Aquilo Records. Here's what is coming and going to Hulu for March!

Goodman Theatre announces Sydney Chatman as the recipient of the 2019 Michael Maggio Directing Fellowship, an honor reserved for early-career Chicago-based directors. Chatman will gain complete access to the artistic process at the Goodman-from early research and design through the casting and rehearsal process to the opening night. The annual fellowship was established in 2002 to honor the memory and artistry of Goodman Associate Artistic Director Michael Maggio (1951 - 2000) who directed a total of 22 productions at the Goodman and more than 60 productions around the country.

According to Deadline, Eric Heisserer's short story titled SIMULTANEOUS is set to get  adapted by Hulu. The screenwriter is known for his work on ARRIVAL and BIRD BOX. Colby Day will pen this adaption. Read more about the news from Deadline here!

Today Hulu and Funimation, a subsidiary of Sony Pictures Television (SPT), announced a multi-year partnership and output deal. The monumental deal marks Hulu's largest agreement for anime programming to date and will significantly expand its anime collection with new subtitled and dubbed titles from Funimation, the leading anime distributor, each year. With millions of hours of anime streamed over the past year, Hulu is streaming home to one of the most comprehensive collections of anime programming in the U.S.

Starz, a Lionsgate company (NYSE: LGF.A, LGF.B), and Hulu today announced the launch of the STARZ premium add-on, available on all of Hulu's subscription plans, just in time for the upcoming season four premiere of the hit STARZ Original series 'Outlander' on Sunday, Nov. 4.

Hulu has greenlit a 10-episode order of Crossing Swords, a new animated comedy series from the Emmy Award winning Robot Chicken executive producers John Harvatine IV and Tom Root. The series from Stoopid Buddy Stoodios is set to premiere as part of the Hulu Originals slate in 2020.

When NBC Sports presents the Super Bowl-champion Philadelphia Eagles hosting the Atlanta Falcons in the “NFL Kickoff” game next Thursday, Sept. 6 (coverage begins at 7:30 p.m. ET on NBC), it will mark the 10th season together in the broadcast booth for the NBC Sunday Night Football announce team of Al Michaels and Cris Collinsworth.

This September features many new titles coming to Amazon Prime. Prime Original series King Lear will become available on Prime Video on September 28th. Other Prime Originals coming to the service in September include series premieres of Six Dreams (Sep 7) and Forever (Sep 14) as well as season 1a of Pete the Cat (Sep 7) and season 2b of Wishenpoof (Sep 7). Acclaimed Psychological Thriller SAFE HARBOUR to Make U.S. Debut on Hulu

Hulu has boarded the critically acclaimed Australian series Safe Harbour for its U.S. debut as a Hulu Original Series. In a deal with NBCUniversal Television and New Media Distribution, the four-part event drama is the latest internationally-produced series to join Hulu's growing slate of thought-provoking original series, and will make its debut on August 24th.

Today, Hulu announced a deal to acquire whistleblower doc CRIME + PUNISHMENT as a Hulu documentary. After debuting at the 2018 Sundance Film Festival, CRIME + PUNISHMENT went on to win the U.S. Documentary Special Jury Award for Social Impact Filmmaking, and has garnered numerous awards, including the Grand Jury Prize at the 2018 Independent Film Festival in Boston. Stephen Maing directed, produced and filmed, and Academy Award Winner Laura Poitras serves as an executive producer.
