Berkeley Repertory Theatre today announced the full cast and creative team for Paradise Square: An American Musical. The world premiere is helmed by acclaimed director Moises Kaufman, with choreography by the legendary Bill T. Jones and a book by Marcus Gardley, Craig Lucas, and Larry Kirwan. Music by Jason Howland and Larry Kirwan, with lyrics by Nathan Tysen, and based on the songs of Stephen Foster. Paradise Square is produced by special arrangement with Garth H. Drabinsky in association with Peter LeDonne and Teatro Proscenium Limited Partnership.

Further casting is to be announced.

ZHONG-JING FANG, soloist of American Ballet Theatre, PAOLA HARTLEY, former principal dancer of Ballet Arizona, KARL CONDON, former principal dancer of the Boston Ballet, and ILYA KOZADAYEV, former soloist of the Houston Ballet will be on the Shreveport Dance Academy's Summer Intensive to be held in Shreveport, Louisiana. Zhong-Jing Fang and Paola Hartley will be on the faculty from July 23-27, 2018, and Karl Condon and Ilya Kozadayev will be on the faculty from July 30-August 3, 2018.

After a successful run in Central Park, playing to over 4,000 people, performances resume on Wednesday, June 27 in Rockefeller Park/Battery Park City for New York Classical Theatre's critically acclaimed production of Romeo and Juliet, directed by the company's Founding Artistic Director Stephen Burdman. The production will play this week through June 30, before continuing on to The Battery, Carl Schurz Park, and Brooklyn Bridge Park for performances through July 29. Two actors. Five plays. One sexy night. Chiara Alik's smart comedy, Five Times In One Night, runs at Wellfleet Harbor Actors Theater June 27 to July 20. Produced in collaboration with Ensemble Studio Theatre, Five Times in One Night is directed by R.J. Tolan, and stars Lacy Allen and Drew Lewis. New York Classical Theatre (Stephen Burdman, Artistic Director), New York City's only all-free professional Off-Broadway theatre company, is pleased to announce a new production of William Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet to celebrate its 19th Anniversary Season. The production, directed by Mr. Burdman, is the company's first staging of Shakespeare's tale of star-crossed lovers, and will be presented in five New York City parks - Central Park, Rockefeller Park/Battery Park City, The Battery, Carl Schurz Park and Brooklyn Bridge Park - with performances from June 5 through July 29 at 7:00 PM. There is no ticketing, and all performances are free and open to the public. New York Classical Theatre also invites audiences to experience unique behind-the-scenes access to open rehearsals on selected dates for each of the five park stagings.
ABC Tuesday Prime Time (8:00-11:00 p.m. – 4.9 million and 1.3/5 in AD18-49):
ABC won Tuesday in Adults 18-49(1.3/5) ranking as the No. 1 broadcaster on the night for the 6th straight week. In fact, ABC is delivering its longest streak at No. 1 on Tuesday in 18 years – since a streak that ran from May–June of 2000. The Net beat out runner-up CBS on Tuesday with its original dramas by 18% (1.1/4), “The Voice”-led NBC by 44% (0.9/4) and Fox by 117% (0.6/3). ABC held even with its last first-run Tuesday two weeks ago in Adults 18-49 and spiked 44% from the year-ago night with all original programming (1.3/5 vs. 0.9/4).
According to Variety, NEW GIRL actor Max Greenfield and Tracy Morgan are set to join Taraji P. Henson in the upcoming WHAT MEN WANT. Adam Shankman is set to direct the picture, based on the 2000 hit WHAT WOMEN WANT. Read more about it from Variety here!
Stephen Triffitt is the best known Sinatra performer in the UK. He first came to the public's attention when he appeared on Star in Their Eyes in May 2000. He won his heat, polling 400,000 votes - and a new career was born! Soon after Stephen flew to Atlantic?City to star as?Frank in a show called The?Main?Event. He returned to the States in June 2002, once again starring in The Main Event, this time for a three-month run, headlining at The Venetian on the Strip in Las Vegas, which was built on the site of the Sands Hotel.
