TheatreWorks Silicon Valley presents the Tony Award-winning musical The Bridges of Madison County, based on the 1992 bestselling novel by Robert James Waller about love both lost and found. Set amidst the cornfields of Iowa in 1965, this passionate musical follows the unexpected affair of a devoted Italian-born housewife and a roving National Geographic photographer set over four sensual, heart-stirring days. Brilliantly adapted by Pulitzer Prize and Tony Award-winning playwright Marsha Norman ('night Mother, The Secret Garden, The Color Purple) with music and lyrics by Tony Award winner Jason Robert Brown (Parade), it captured the 2014 Tony Award for Best Musical Score. The Bridges of Madison County, directed by TheatreWorks Artistic Director and founder Robert Kelley will be presented April 4 - 29, 2018 (opening night: April 7) at the Mountain View Center for the Performing Arts, 500 Castro St., Mountain View. The Madison Square Garden Company announced today the unprecedented 57th consecutive show by legendary musician and MSG franchise Billy Joel at Madison Square Garden on Saturday, October 27, 2018. The October show is part of his residency at The World's Most Famous Arena, which began in January 2014 with Joel playing one show per month at The Garden. The October 2018 show will be Joel's 103rd all-time performance at The Garden.

Legendary songwriter, recording artist and performer Paul Simon has announced the final leg of Homeward Bound – The Farewell Tour, culminating with four shows in the New York City area: the Prudential Center on September 15 in Newark, NJ(the city where Simon was born), and two nights at Madison Square Garden on September 20 and 21, with an additional concert to be announced soon.  As previously announced, Simon and his band will embark on the artist's final tour May 16 in Vancouver, bringing to the stage a stunning, career-spanning repertoire of timeless hits and classic songs.

The 16th Annual Garden State Film Festival is excited to announce the East Coast premiere of 'Making A Killing,' a new independent feature film from Tinton Falls, New Jersey native Devin Hume (Director/Producer/Co-Writer) and Bruce Robinson (Executive Producer/Producer). Starring Michael Jai White, Mike Starr, Jude Moran, Aida Turturro, New Jersey's Jack Forcinito with Sally Kirkland and Christopher Lloyd, this twisted modern-day crime mystery BASED ON A TRUE STORY, tells the story of three morticians who get caught in a web of greed and deceit, involving buried treasure and a tangled love affair. The backstory to this film is as compelling as the film itself. 'Making A Killing' will screen at the Jersey Shore Arts Center with the filmmakers and several cast members in attendance, on Saturday, March 24th from 8:00-10:00 p.m. during the Garden State Film Festival which runs from March 22-March 25, 2018.
