After a decade of not speaking to each other, British guitarist Albert Lee was able to bring the Everly Brothers back together in 1983, for what he thought would be a one-off concert at London's Royal Albert Hall. That the reunion lasted for another 26 years was an unexpected, but pleasing, bonus.

Australian producers John Frost and Suzanne Jones have announced today that iconic Australian entertainer Tom Burlinson will join the cast of the multi-award winning, record breaking musical CHICAGO for its seasons in Sydney and Brisbane playing the role of the cunning and charismatic lawyer Billy Flynn.

Grammy winning singer/songwriter, John Berry, has released a heartfelt and personal song from his latest project, Thomas Road. The endearing single entitled, 'The Richest Man,” was released with an exclusive announcement in Billboard Magazine on Friday. Actor, author and critically-acclaimed stand-up comedian Lewis Black returns to the McAninch Arts Center (MAC), located at 425 Fawell Blvd. on the campus of College of DuPage, Saturday, March 30, 2019 at 8 p.m. Black will rant on parents to politics in this engagement that is part of Black's "The Joke's on US Tour." Michael Feinstein and the Pasadena POPS close out their popular outdoor summer concert series at the Los Angeles County Arboretum on Saturday, September 8 with Broadway Goes to the Movies. The John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts today announced the selection of four Honorees who will receive the 2018 Kennedy Center Honors for lifetime artistic achievements, and a special Honors distinction for a work of art and its co-creators. Recipients to be honored at the 41st annual national celebration of the arts are: singer and actress Cher, composer and pianist Philip Glass, Country music entertainer Reba McEntire, and jazz saxophonist and composer Wayne Shorter. This year, the co-creators of Hamilton-writer and actor Lin-Manuel Miranda, director Thomas Kail, choreographer Andy Blankenbuehler, and music director Alex Lacamoire-will receive a unique Kennedy Center Honors as trailblazing creators of a transformative work that defies category.
