Based on P.I. Travers' cherished stories and the classic 1964 Walt Disney film, MARY POPPINS, currently one of London's biggest sensations, features the Sherman brothers' original Academy Award�-winning songs. In collaboration with Cameron Mackintosh, the show has been created by Academy Award�-winning screenwriter Julian Fellowes, who has written the book, and the Olivier� Award-winning team of George Stiles and Anthony Drewe, who have composed new songs and additional music and lyrics.

However, recently, James has been subtly moving his career away from the stage towards screens of all sizes. His first step in this new direction was in the first season of the hit webseries THE RESIDUALS. The comedy tells the tumultuous stories of actors auditioning for commercials. High school seniors of the University of North Carolina School of the Arts (UNCSA) got the graduation ceremony of their dreams on Saturday, May 18, when Disney Theatrical Group President Thomas Schumacher delivered their commencement address, and the diplomas were presented by 'Mary Poppins' herself: UNCSA alumna Rachel Wallace. The New York Times is reporting that MARY POPPINS will close on Broadway on March 3, 2013 to make way for renovations , followed by its next tenant 'A musical adaptation of the company's 1992 animated film "Aladdin," according to two Broadway theater executives. The two executives spoke on condition of anonymity to discuss production plans that remain confidential. A Disney spokesman did not immediately return a phone message seeking comment on Monday.'
