Clean out those chimneys and look to the sky as CMT San Jose will open up tickets to its Marquee production of Disney's Mary Poppins on Wednesday, October 1 starting at 10 a.m.

Two CMT and Mitty High alums, Tiffany Tanquary and Joey Dippel, will take on the lead roles of Mary Poppins and Bert, both very familiar to the 47-year old musical theater company with over four dozen CMT shows to their combined credits.

The duo actually first met as young CMT Rising Stars in the early 2000s and have remained close ever since.

Dippel returns again from New York to play the role of Bert, after directing his 30th CMT show, Cats, last May. Prior to college, his roles at CMT included Tommy in The Music Man, Rum Tum Tugger in Cats and Maximillion in Candid. He earned a Bachelor's from the Cincinnati's College-Conservatory of Music before moving to New York.

Tanquary graduated from Chico State in 2013 after playing Annie in Annie, Maria in West Side Story and Emma in Jekyll and Hyde on the CMT stage. She was a part of 30 shows at CMT, American Music Theater and Theatre Works before heading off to college to earn a Bachelor's in Public Affairs. She was last seen at CMT in 2009 in Tommy and Rent.

CMT Marquees have been combining CMT alumni and professional actors in the area since 2005. Kevin R. Hauge, CMT's Artistic Director will again direct the first of two Marquee shows at the Montgomery Theater. Mary Poppins runs December 5 to 14.

Marquee tickets are $30 for adults and $24 for children and available by calling 408-288-5437 or online at www.cmtsj.org/tickets.
