The Drayton Festival Theatre will present a lively afternoon of non-stop entertainment with its 20th Annual Alan Lund Memorial Scholarship Variety Show today, October 14th at 3:00 p.m. This event showcases some of Drayton Entertainment's finest performers - with a unique twist. All proceeds from the sale of tickets go to scholarships that are handed out during the event to deserving individuals who are striving to further their careers in the performing arts.

Lynne Meadow (Artistic Director), Barry Grove (Executive Producer), and Mandy Greenfield (Artistic Producer) just announced the 2012 recipients of the Alfred P. Sloan Foundation Initiative commissions for Manhattan Theatre Club. This year's six commissioned writers are April de Angelis (Jumpy), Nick Jones (The Coward), Heidi Schreck (Creature), Melissa Ross (Thinner Than Water), Sarah Treem (A Feminine Ending), and Bess Wohl (Barcelona).

REBECCA will open on Broadway Sunday, November 18 at The Broadhurst Theatre. Previews will begin Tuesday, October 30.

Scott Fitzgerald's The Great Gatsby. Created and performed by Elevator Repair Service, this award-winning theatrical event, directed by John Collins and featuring Scott Shepherd as Nick, will begin previews on Wednesday, March 14 and run through Sunday, May 6 for 28 performances only in the Newman Theater.
