42nd Street Moon, San Francisco's oldest resident professional musical theatre company, opens its 23rd season with Noel Coward's penultimate musical, the sparkling high seas comedy SAIL AWAY. Although this saucy look at travelers on a Mediterranean cruise opened on Broadway in 1961 and the West End in 1962, it has never been fully staged on the West Coast, until now.

B Street Theatre, Sacramento's Resident New Works Theatre, is excited to present The Best Brothers by Daniel MacIvor. 

The New York Musical Theatre Festival (NYMF) presents a developmental reading of Windywoo and Her Naughty Naughty Pets, a new musical based on the popular Naughty Naughty Pets franchise, featured on Cartoon Network and Disney's Hyperion Books for Children. The developmental readings will take place July 11 at 1pm and July 13 at 4pm and 7pm at the Studio Theatre at Theatre Row (410 West 42nd Street).

Matthews, CEO of United Cerebral Palsy of New York City (UCP of NYC), and Loreen Arbus, Founder & Chair of Women Who Care, announced today that Lynda Carter, actress and singer, will be honored at the Women Who Care Awards, to be held Thursday, May 7th at Cipriani 42nd Street. The luncheon benefits United Cerebral Palsy of New York City and celebrates the accomplishments of extraordinary women as professionals, philanthropists and caregivers, who have broken glass ceilings and inspired others through their professional and charitable endeavors. Ms. Carter will receive The Women Who Care Luella Bennack Philanthropy Award.

Performances begin Thursday, February 26th and continue through Today, March 14th. Opening Night is Today, February 28th at 8 p.m.

TACT/The Actors Company Theatre, the critically-acclaimed and Drama Desk nominated Off-Broadway company 'dedicated to presenting neglected or rarely produced plays of literary merit,' presents the first New York revival in 30 years of The Killing of Sister George, the controversial 1964 play by Frank Marcus. The first production of the company's 22nd Season will be directed by TACT Company Member Drew Barr, who directed the company's Fall 2012 production of Brian Friel's Lovers. Performances begin at Theatre Row's Beckett Theatre (410 West 42nd Street - between 9th & 10th Avenues) tonight, September 23, 2014. Opening night is set for Tuesday, October 7 at 7:30pm. Signature Theatre has announced the continuation of the "World of the Play" series with a panel of experts discussing Women Prisoners and America's Incarceration Crisis.
