Music at Kohl Mansion To Launch Chamber Music Season October 22

Music at Kohl Mansion (MAKM), the Bay Area's “prestigious chamber music presenter,” will launch the 2023-24 international chamber music season Sunday, October 22 at 7 p.m. with the virtuosic Israeli Chamber Project, as part of a 7-concert series on Sunday evenings at the historic Kohl Mansion's Great Hall.

Symphony In C Announces 2023-2024 Season

New Jersey-based professional training orchestra Symphony in C today announces its 2023-2024 season following the recent appointment of its new Music Director, Noam Aviel. Aviel began her position in July and makes her debut as Music Director conducting Smetana's Overture from The Bartered Bride, Rachmaninov's Piano Concerto No. 2, Op. 18 (soloist TBA), and Tchaikovsky's Symphony 4 during Symphony in C's season opening concert on Saturday, November 4, 2023 at 8:00 p.m. All concerts take place at Gordon Theater at the Rutgers-Camden Center for the Arts in Camden, New Jersey.

South Florida Symphony Orchestra (SFSO), led by Sebrina María Alfonso, has announced its 2023/24 season featuring five classical Masterworks concerts and Handel's glorious holiday masterpiece Messiah. This new season features Brahms, Bernstein, Schubert, Stravinsky, Tchaikovsky and more, including Symphony premieres by trailblazing female composers Florence Price, Ellen Taaffe Zwilich and Jessie Montgomery. SFSO will also host a 200th anniversary celebration of Beethoven's magnificent Symphony No. 9.
