LeBron James' SpringHill Entertainment and Roy Lee's Vertigo Entertainment are in talks to acquire the rights to a reboot of “Friday the 13th,” according to Variety.

UnsungMusicals Co. announced today its plans for the 2018 season.

City Winery Chicago, 1200 W. Randolph Street, announces Canadian rocker Randy Bachman ('You Ain't Seen Nothin' Yet”), a live recording of the hilarious Girls Gotta Eat podcast and more. The Stage Directors and Choreographers Foundation (SDCF) has named Oskar Eustis as the first recipient of its new honor, The Gordon Davidson Award, which will be bestowed annually by SDCF to recognize a director or choreographer for lifetime achievement and distinguished service in the regional theatre nationally. The presentation of the award will take place on Saturday, September 22, at the Center Theatre Group's Annex/ Gordon Davidson Rehearsal Hall, in a by-invitation-only event.

On the 30th Anniversary of their platinum album, Blow My Fuse, Maryland hard rock icons, KIX will releaseFuse 30 Reblown on September 21, 2018, exactly 30 years after Blow My Fuse's original September 19, 1988 release date. KIX announced the release from the stage of the M3 Rock Festival where the band performed Blow My Fuse in its entirety last weekend to their hometown crowd.

On April 27th, 'The Chicago Blues Brothers - Back In Black Tour' - the award-winning spectacular that is Europe's biggest and best-loved production of the Blues Brothers come to The SSE Arena, Belfast.

The newly revamped national tour of 'Let It Be' includes a fantasy 'reunion' of the group on John Lennon's 40th birthday, October 9, 1980, two months before his murder. The group combined note-perfect renditions of two dozen Beatles songs as well as songs from the group members' solo careers during the 1970s in a generally entertaining, nostalgic trip to the glory years of the Fab Four.

Brooklyn the Musical is one of those rare gems of a show that the back story of its creation can influence what you experience on stage. The duo behind the show, Mark Schoenfeld and Barri McPherson were songwriting partners in the early 1980's and lost touch and about 20 years later, Mr. Schoenfeld was singing on the streets of Brooklyn when his old writing partner, Ms. McPherson ran into him and a new partnership was born, this time creating art out of life in Brooklyn.

The original producers of Smokey Joe's Cafe: The Songs of Leiber & Stoller, Broadway's longest running musical revue, announced today that the show will return to New York this summer following a limited engagement at Maine's Ogunquit Playhouse. Preview performances will begin at New York's Stage 42 (422 West 42nd Street) on July 6 and opening night is set for July 22. Tickets will go on sale on Monday, March 12 through telecharge.com and the box office will open on June 25. Casting is to be announced.
