Battery Dance celebrates the 40th Anniversary of its free summer festival from August 12-20, 2021, in partnership with Battery Park City Authority. The 40th Annual Battery Dance Festival features 16 international dance films from August 12-14 at 7pm ET via YouTube. 40 in-person and livestreamed performances will be staged at Robert F. Wagner, Jr. Park, New York City, from August 15-20 at 7pm ET. In total, 32 premieres by 53 dance companies are offered to international audiences, promoting Battery Dance’s mission of connecting the world through dance.

Sony Masterworks Broadway today has released 'Drive It Like You Stole It,' a new track from the forthcoming ORIGINAL BROADWAY CAST RECORDING of Sing Street. Based on John Carney's indie hit film following a group of teenagers in '80s Dublin, Sing Street features music inspired by the era, co-written by Carney and Danny Wilson front man Gary Clark. A fan-favorite number from the original film, 'Drive It Like You Stole It' celebrates the thrill of rebellion, capturing the essence of the '80s with its anthemic singalong chorus - listen here.
The Art House Gallery will present the work of the late Hamlet Manzueta from March 7-28 in Jersey City. One year after his death, Hamlet still lives on in the hearts of the Jersey City art community and on the walls of many of its residents. Curated by Andrea McKenna, 'One Year After' is a celebration of Hamlet's prolific career, exhibiting paintings from throughout his lifetime in the community he called home. The UK's own China Crisis and Canada's new wave pioneers Rational Youth, two of the most illustrious bands of the 1980s, will unite for a special show at Toronto's Revival Bar.
