New York City Center's seventh annual Fall for Dance Festival, running September 28 - October 9, will showcase 20 national and international companies and choreographers. With ticket prices remaining at $10 for all seats, a night of dance is more affordable than a night at the movies. The festival will include world and U.S. premieres, and will feature several companies making their first U.S. appearances.

The Tricycle Theatre will present Women, Power and Politics, a season opening immediately after the general election, exploring the history and current role of women in politics in Great Britain through twelve different plays, a film festival, curtain raisers (in conjunction with the National Theatre Studio) and an exhibition in the Tricycle's Gallery.

A.R. Gurney's play THE GRAND MANNER is filled with memorable scenes. The fictional account of the playwright's youthful encounter with legendary actress Katharine Cornell brims with nostalgic references, brilliant characterizations, witty aphorisms and touchingly human scenes. However, the June 6th matinee featured an extra, unscripted, delight.

The Fry Street Quartet will be in residence at The Hartt School Community Division (HCD) July 30 through August 8, working with advanced teenagers in HCD's 3rd annual David Einfeldt Chamber Music Seminar. REDCAT joins LA Opera and more than 50 Southern California arts and educational institutions for the 10-week Ring Festival LA. The Roy and Edna Disney/CalArts Theater will host two provocative Wagnerian events held in conjunction with the 10-week city-wide festival.
