NST Associate Director Blanche McIntyre directs Lydia Bewley, best known for The Inbetweeners, Plebs and E4's comedy Drifters, Elizabeth Boag, Anna Fordham, Lisa Kerr, Anne Odeke and Alicia Mckenzie. The production, in association with Oxford Playhouse, sees some of the UK's most influential female voices, Wendy Cope, Jenny Eclair, Suhayla El-Bushra, Natalie Haynes, Shappi Khorsandi, Jess Phillips MP and Brona C Titley, come together to write this musical comedy based on the Greek classic, The Assemblywomen. The production opens on 13 September at NST City, with previews from 6 September and runs until 29 September. It will then run at Oxford Playhouse from 3 - 6 October.

The British actress Judi Dench will receive the prestigious Donostia Award at the 66th edition of the San Sebastian Festival next month. The Festival's highest honorary award will be presented on Tuesday, September 25th, prior to the screening of Trevor Nunn's Red Joan, in which Dench plays a woman whose tranquil life is suddenly disrupted when she's arrested by MI5 and accused of providing intelligence to Communist Russia.

The fourth production in the theatre's centennial season, Jersey Boysruns July 9 - 16. Jersey Boys is directed and choreographed by Josh Rhodes with music direction by Rick Bertone. The Web Marketing Association is looking for the best radio websites and the best television websites as part of their 22nd annual international WebAward Competition for Web site development. The WebAwards is the standards-defining competition that sets benchmarks for 96 industries, including radio web sites, based on the seven criteria of a successful Web site. The deadline for broadcast web sites to enter to be judged is May 31, 2018.
'The radio and television industries has become to rely on their websites for an important stream of advertising revenue,' said William Rice, President of the Web Marketing Association. 'Their websites should provide a resource for their target audience. Having that aspect of your broadcast website reviewed is just one benefit of participating in the annual WebAward program. Being able to say you have an award-winning website can't hurt either.'
Web sites are judged on seven criteria including design, innovation, content, technology, interactivity, copy writing and ease of use. Each WebAward entry in the advertising category is judged against other advertising entries in its industry category and then against an overall standard of excellence.
