Producers announced today the first North American tour and full casting of the Tony Award-winning Broadway revival of THE COLOR PURPLE. Performances will begin October 7, 2017 in Schenectady, New York at Proctors and the tour will have its official opening October 17, 2017 in Baltimore, Maryland at The Hippodrome Theatre. Based on the beloved 1993 Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer motion picture written by Barry Berman and Leslie McNeil, Benny & Joon is directed by Jack Cummings III, Artistic Director of New York's Transport Group.

Huntington Production Center Opens with Ribbon Cutting 8/10

The Huntington Theatre Company will host a ribbon cutting ceremony for the new Huntington Production Center in Everett, MA on Thursday, August 10 at 12:30pm located at 46 Garden Street. The Huntington's former production facility, located at 252-258 Huntington Avenue and previously owned by Boston University, will become the site of a new building developed by QMG Huntington LLC who purchased the lot in May 2016.
