The Lyric Stage Company of Boston announces the cast & creative team for COMPANY, with Music and Lyrics by STEPHEN SONDHEIM and Book by GEORGE FURTH. 'We do art because of what it does for us - how it transforms us,' actor Gregg Goodbrod states with quiet conviction. 'Being an actor helps me to understand other people and see their lives and my own from a different perspective. That's why doing a play like Ghost becomes a journey that really resonates for me.' Goodbrod is speaking about his emotionally and physically demanding role as Sam Wheat in the new chamber version of the original 1990 movie and 2011 stage musical, which is currently playing at Maine State Music Theatre. He uses an example of the scene in which Sam, now a ghost, watches his beloved Molly sort through his belongs. 'I am really very Method as an actor, so I try to get into it completely and feel the actual feelings. And as I am watching Liz [Shivener] play this scene, it suddenly hits me that all these things are not what are important. If I were go, I know it is the love that I would miss. That's why I am an actor - so I can take these journeys and learn new lessons.'

Lehman Center for the Performing Arts is proud to present the return of the PUERTO RICAN MASTERS with Director Isidro Infante featuring three legends of salsa: Ismael Rivera Jr., Pedro Brull and Jose Mangual Jr., joined on stage by Hector Tricoche and Viti Ruiz of the new generation of salsa with a special appearance by Yolanda Rivera today, June 4th, 2016 at 8pm. The Puerto Rican Masters are a select group of the greatest stars of classic and contemporary salsa of the last forty years. The Orchestra, led by Maestro Isidro Infante, is composed of some of the best Puerto Rican musicians resident in New York City. Produced by Lehman Center and Leo Tizol.

In celebration of the Chinese New Year, the highly popular contemporary dance company Nai-Ni Chen will perform at the Winter Center on Friday, January 29 at 7:30 p.m. Known as the 'go-to' resource of Asian American dance, and reaching more than 50,000 audience members a year, the dances of Nai-Ni Chen fuse the dynamic freedom of American modern dance with the grace and splendor of Asian art, helping to bridge the gap between cultures. The New York Times calls their performances "endlessly proliferating forces of cosmic energy." The Winter Center is located at 60 W. Cottage Avenue, Millersville.

South Camden Theatre Company, a nonprofit professional theatre organization located in Camden, New Jersey continues its 11th season and second decade of theatre in the city with a three week production of HOUSE OF BLUE LEAVES.  Opening January 15, 2016 at 8p.m. the play is written by John Guare and directed by Susan Jami Paschkes. HOUSE OF BLUE LEAVES is an award-winning dark comedy set in Queens New York against the backdrop of the Pope's visit in 1965; as a struggling songwriter tries to keep the pieces of his life together. The cast includes Damian Muziani, Joshua McLucas, Gabrielle M. Affleck, Susan Chase, Adriana Alveario, Marjorie Sokoloff, Jessi Meisel and Colleen Marker.
