South Camden Theatre Company, a nonprofit professional theatre organization located in Camden, New Jersey continues its 11th season and second decade of theatre in the city with a three week production of HOUSE OF BLUE LEAVES. Opening January 15, 2016 at 8p.m. the play is written by John Guare and directed by Susan Jami Paschkes. HOUSE OF BLUE LEAVES is an award-winning dark comedy set in Queens New York against the backdrop of the Pope's visit in 1965; as a struggling songwriter tries to keep the pieces of his life together. The cast includes Damian Muziani, Joshua McLucas, Gabrielle M. Affleck, Susan Chase, Adriana Alveario, Marjorie Sokoloff, Jessi Meisel and Colleen Marker.

Producing Artistic Director Joseph M. Paprzycki states, "I have always loved this play since I saw in on PBS back in the late 1990's. It is a piece I always wanted to bring to SCTC and thought that, in this year of a papal visit to Philadelphia, there was no better year to present it to you. So enjoy the play for all that it includes the comedy, the drama and the dreaming."

All performances will be held Friday and Saturday evenings at 8 p.m. and Sunday afternoons at 2:00 p.m. at the 96-seat Waterfront South Theatre located at 400 Jasper Street in Camden, New Jersey. Tickets are available for purchase for $20 online at http://www.southcamdentheatre.org, by calling 1-866-811-4111 or at the door.
