The final four shows of DPAC's 'Broadway Doesn't Get Any Bigger Than This' Season will go on sale this Saturday, September 26 at 10 a.m. The final four shows include Matilda the Musical, Cabaret, 42nd Street and If/Then.

'Come and meet those dancing feet' when Broadway's quintessential musical comedy classic 42nd Street taps its way into Waterbury for three performances, Oct. 9 and 10, at the Palace Theater. Tickets for the Webster Bank Broadway series presentation are $64, $57, and $52 and can be purchased online at www.palacetheaterct.org, by phone at 203-346-2000, or in person at the Box Office, 100 East Main St.

Shaeffer, this version features a book and lyrics by Tony and Pulitzer Prize-winner Marsha Norman and a score by Marius De Vries and Tony Award-winner Jason Robert Brown.  Produced by Carmen Pavlovic and Roy Furman, a production schedule for KING KONG will be announced at a later date.

On Friday, October 9, noted orchestrator and conductor Fred Barton will bring the music of Broadway and the American Songbook to the Schimmel Center at Pace University, in American Showstoppers: An Evening of Johnny Mercer. In his seventh concert at Pace, Fred Barton now brings the power of Mercer's music and lyrics front and center, with a 14-piece orchestra and a cast of 16 Broadway singers and dancers, with direction and choreography by Scott Thompson. The cast is headlined by Damon Kirsch, Tony nominee Lee Roy Reams, two time Tony nominee Vivian Reed, Nick Spangler, Tony Nominee Lauren Worsham, and Tony Award winner Karen Ziemba. Benny Andersson and Bjorn Ulvaeus' global smash hit musical MAMMA MIA!, inspired by the songs of ABBA, will end its historic, record-breaking run tonight, September 12, 2015, after 5,773 performances.

MAMMA MIA! might be leaving Broadway this month, but it will go out with a bang. The New York Post writes that cast members from all fourteen years of the show's Broadway run will return for the final performance on September 12. No word yet on the final guest list, but it's sure to be a night to remember!

My, my, here we go again! MAMMA MIA! might be leaving Broadway this month, but the musical will live on in a sequel to the 2008 film adaptation. 

WaterTower Theatre Producing Artistic Director Terry Martin today announced details of the world premiere of Donald Fowler's musical CREEP. The musical will open WaterTower Theatre's 2015-2016 Season on Monday, October 5, 2015 (with previews on Friday, October 2, Saturday, October 3, and a Gala Preview performance on Sunday, October 4). Kate Galvin, Associate Producer at the 11th Hour Theatre Company in Philadelphia, will direct. CREEP is produced by Terry Martin.
