Scottsdale Musical Theater Company has announced Tony Award-winner and Broadway legend Jennifer Holliday (Dreamgirls, The Color Purple) and Joey Lawrence (TV's 'Blossom', 'Brotherly Love', 'Melissa & Joey' , Broadway's Chicago) will lead their production of the musical Thoroughly Modern Millie (September 27 - October 7 at Tempe Center for the Arts in Tempe, Arizona). Holliday will play Muzzy Van Hossmere and Lawrence will play Trevor Graydon. They will be joined by Marc Koeck ('Tony' in last year's 50th Anniversary international tour of West Side Story.

Producers of The Way Off Broadway Dinner Theatre have unveiled its new 2018/2019 Season, which will also be the theatre's 25th Silver Anniversary Season. The curtain first rose on Way Off Broadway in 1995 with a production of Let the Good Times Roll. Since then, Way Off Broadway has produced over 100 productions, ranging from classic musicals to regional premieres.

Way Off Broadway Welcomes The Return Of The Berenstain Bears

After a brief hiatus at the beginning of the year, Way Off Broadway is kicking off its 2018 Family Theatre Series season with the return of The Berenstain Bears on Stage! In 2002, The Way Off Broadway Dinner Theatre opened its season with a set of new owners and the hilarious musical comedy farce A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum. Sixteen years later, the Kiska family, who purchased the theatre in 2002, and Way Off Broadway are very excited to see the return of one of the funniest shows to ever appear on the WOB stage. Forum will continue the theatre's 2018 Mega-Mini Season, running March 23rd - May 19th.

The Signature Theatre (Paige Evans, Artistic Director; James Houghton, Founder) Annual Gala will take place on Monday, March 12, 2018 at The Pershing Square Signature Center (located at 480 West 42nd Street between 9th & 10th Avenues). The event will celebrate the late Pulitzer Prize-winning playwright Edward Albee and honor the passionate and visionary leadership of former President of the Signature Board of Trustees, Michael Rauch. The Gala is taking place on what would have been Edward Albee's 90th Birthday.

JERRY SPRINGER - THE OPERA Extends Through April 1, Matt McGrath Takes Over Lead Role

Due to demand, The New Group has announced a three-week extension for Jerry Springer - The Opera, with Matt McGrath appearing as Jerry Springer beginning March 13.  Terrence Mann, currently appearing in the role of Jerry Springer, plays his final performance March 11 due to an existing commitment beyond that date.
