We Ain't Ever Gonna Break Up: The Hymon and Parfunkel Musical is a new musical comedy from Village Theatre featuring the most famous folk duo who never existed: Saul Hymon and Bart Parfunkel. Writers and performers Gregg Hammer and Louis Pardo play the titular roles — as well as every other role and every instrument, including the spoons — in this buddy show built around a fully original folk-inspired score. The show tells a heartfelt, humorous story about friendship, drawing on Hammer and Pardo's own 20-plus-year real-life friendship. Directed by Scott Weinstein, the production also features understudies Christopher Clark and Brandon Reil.
