Theatre Gigante presents F.W. Murnau's silent film The Last Laugh, which features a live musical accompaniment by the trio Little Bang Theory, including Frank Pahl, Terri Sarris, and Doug Shimmin. The film stars Emil Jannings as a proud doorman who faces humiliation when he is demoted to a washroom attendant, leading to a journey of despair and unexpected fortune. Known for its innovative cinematography by Karl Freund and its poignant reflections on the human condition, this performance will be presented in the beautiful Jan Serr Studio.
