Intiman Theatre presents a free Community Choir & Dance Workshop led by Music Director Rev. Sam L. Townsend, Jr. and choreographer Vania C. Bynum, running from 2:00–5:00 PM. Participants may choose between two simultaneous workshops inspired by Intiman's annual production of Black Nativity: a community choir workshop exploring gospel music foundations in the main auditorium, or a movement workshop introducing dance styles and choreography from the production downstairs. Members of the Black Nativity choir, dancers, and band will join the workshop leaders. Singers and dancers of all levels, ages, races, and backgrounds are welcome.
