Molly is excited to return to SFCC as a director. She previously appeared on the stage in Big Fish and Madagascar the Musical. She earned a BA from EWU. She wants to thank Ashley, her boyfriend Skyler, roommate Jayce, and her best friend Jennifer for supporting her in this process. DIRECTOR’S NOTE: “Vastness is not a concept unique to the universe. Are we not all born from stars? What you hold within has held everything that has ever been. Love is a simple truth. Life and death and time and motion, they’re all a lie but love—love—” Love is universal, it’s beautiful, and it’s something we all share. It comes in all shapes, and no matter what version it is, it’s a thing we all hope to experience in our lives. This play explores romance, found family, and puts an importance on treasuring those who care for us. Even in today’s world, the LGBTQIA+ community is still reaching for safe spaces. Shows like this one are important to show you aren’t alone. You deserve love. You deserve a family. You deserve to feel normal. Thank you for taking this funny and moving journey through time with us in the All Night Star Light Diner. It’s a story we are honored to tell. A special thank you to Spectrum Center Spokane for their support in this project and thank you to SFCC for allowing me to share my take on this script with all of you. To my cast, crew, and amazing team that brought this to life; I am so grateful to have worked with such kind, knowledgeable people. You made this experience so special, and I wouldn’t trade it for anything.
