TWIN PEEP SHOW Comes to Seattle in July

From the dynamic duo who created Bohemia, Seattle Vice, and The Fairy’s Bottom comes a new show that transports us back to the Northwest’s heyday - the 1990s. Mark Siano and Opal Peachey invite audiences to witness Twin Peep Show, a new cabaret and musical hybrid specifically designed for Seattle's opulent underground concert hall, The Triple Door. Join us in the Red Room, where your enigmatic host regales you with pleasures, fears, and well-kept secrets. Fans of the 90’s cult classic TV Show Twin Peaks will delight in the nostalgia, but there is something for everyone in this evening filled with burlesque, big voices, acrobatics, and a rockin’ live band covering the tunes that put the Northwest on the map.

Peachey and Siano shows combine elements of cabaret, musical theater, aerial dance, striptease, and sketch comedy to create some of Seattle’s most unique and enjoyable productions. The emphasis is always on creating a fun and memorable experience for their ever-growing fan base of hardcore theater fans, pop-culture aficionados, and people who are new to Seattle and curious about the performing arts.

Hosted by Peachey and Siano, Twin Peep Show features world-class talent. Fresh from a Cirque du Soleil tour abroad, husband and wife aerial duo Anne-Marie Talmage and R. Jones Talmage star as Laura Palmer and Special Agent Dale Cooper. As we peek through the red velvet curtains, you’ll enjoy a sultry dance from Effie DuBois, knee-slapping comedy from Katheryn Reed, and a burlesque reveal from Nox Falls that will make you question your sanity.

“Mark and I both grew up in this area in the 90s (Puyallup and Mukilteo) and in that precious time before social media, when Seattle took the world stage with grunge and Twin Peaks - it made a big impression on us as burgeoning artists. We can’t wait to bring that feeling back to our audiences with a new show that will have you pulling out your old CDs and VHS tapes.” says playwright and co-creator Opal Peachey.

The 5-piece live band will groove on tunes inspired by the cool jazz of Angelo Badalamenti, as well as grunge-era hits and the trademark original compositions from Siano and Peachey that will playfully educate the crowd on why David Lynch is one of the best, weirdest, and most memorable auteurs of our time. Twin Peep Show runs July 27th - August 4th at the Triple Door with 11 performances.
