THE MIRACLE WORKER Runs 2/20-3/15 at Lakewood Playhouse

The Lakewood Playhouse presents the fourth show of their 76th SEASON: "THE MIRACLE WORKER" by William Gibson. The Play will be performed on Fridays, Saturdays at 8:00pm and Sundays at 2:00pm. Performances will be February 20th - March 15th, 2015with Special Showings at 8:00pm on Thursday, February 26th Pay What You Can Night) and 8:00pm on Thursday, March 5th (Pay What You Can" Actor's Benefit). Our Ticket Prices are $25.00 (General Admission), $22.00 (Military), $21.00 (Seniors) and $19.00 (Students/Educators).

Presented in the Lakewood Playhouse's unique "in the round" configuration with seating on all sides of the stage. This production of "THE MIRACLE WORKER" will drop you right into the middle of the beautiful, and inspiring story, of Hellen Keller and her teacher/miracle worker - Anne Sullivan.

THE MIRACLE WORKER will feature the Lakewood Playhouse debut of Director PUG BUJEAUD. Mrs. Bujeaud is the founder, and Artistic Director, of THEATRE ARTISTS of OLYMPIA (or TAO) was the director of Tacoma Little Theatre's recent, and very successful, presentation of DIAL "M" FOR MURDER.

The show consists of a true "ensemble" of eleven Local Actors who are with both new, and old, faces to the Lakewood Playhouse stage. These including these following performers who are returning from previous productions: JIMMY GILLETTI (Captain Keller) , GRETCHEN BOYT (Kate Keller), DEYA OZBURN (Anne Sullivan), KADI BURT (Aunt Ev), ALYSHIA COLLINS (Percy), EVELYN HELT (Martha), CURTIS BEECH (The Doctor), DENNIS WORRELL (Mr. Anagaos), ADRIANA TATE (Blind Girl 1), MARISSA TATE (Blind Girl 3) and ASHLEY MOWREADER (Blind Girl 4).

The following actors will make their deubt at the Lakewood Playhouse Stage: JESSE HENNRICKSON (James Keller), SILVIA GOETZ (Viney), VERONICA BAUER (Blind Girl 2) and LIBERTY EVANS-AGNEW (Helen Keller) .

Helen Keller, who has been unable to speak, hear, or see since childhood, is increasingly difficult to educate, and her parents find Annie Sullivan to do the job. Although she is new to teaching, it is through Annie's strong will and unshakable faith that Helen discovers how to survive and thrive in the world through the eyes and ears of others.
