Casting has been announced for the Seattle engagement of Disney's THE LION KING. In addition, due to the overwhelming demand for tickets, a new performance has been added and will occur on Wednesday, January 2 at 1:00 p.m.

The production features Spencer Plachy as "Scar," Gerald Ramsey as "Mufasa," Buyi Zama as "Rafiki," Nick Cordileone as "Timon," Greg Jackson as "Zazu," Ben Lipitz as "Pumbaa," Jared Dixon as "Simba," Nia Holloway as "Nala," Keith Bennett as "Banzai," Martina Sykes as "Shenzi" and Robbie Swift as "Ed."

The role of "Young Simba" is alternated between Joziyah Jean-Felix, Richard Phillips, Walter Russell III, and Salahedin Safi. The role of "Young Nala" is alternated between Danielle W. Jalade, Brilyn Johnston, Gloria Manning, Rika Nishikawa and Celina Smith.

Rounding out the cast are Derek Adams, Kayla Rose Aimable, Andrew Arrington, William John Austin, Eric Bean, Jr, Thabani Buthelezi, Sasha Caicedo, Chante Carmel, Sean Aaron Carmon, Kyle Robert Carter, Thembelihle Cele, Daniela Cobb, Erynn Marie Dickerson, Ntomb'khona Dlamini, JoAnna Marie Ford, Tony Freeman, Mukelisiwe Goba, Deidrea Halley, William James Jr., Kolin Jerron, Jane King, Brandon A. McCall, Christopher L. Mc Kenzie, Jr., Nhlanhla Ndlovu, Aaron Nelson, Christopher Sams, Jordan Samuels, Kaylin Seckel, Mpume Sikakane, Sadé Simmons, Kevin Tate, Jennifer Theriot, Courtney Thomas, Shacura Wade and Zola Williams.

Disney's THE LION KING will leap onto The Paramount Theatre stage on December 13 for a limited four-week engagement through January 6, 2019 and will play Seattle for 33 performances. Ticket buyers are reminded that the outlets listed above are the only official retail ticket outlets for all performances. Ticket buyers who purchase tickets from a ticket broker or any third party should be aware that The Paramount Theatre is unable to reprint or replace lost or stolen tickets and is unable to contact patrons with information regarding time changes or other pertinent updates regarding the performance.

There will be a Sensory-friendly performance on Saturday, January 5 at 2pm. This performance is for individuals with sensory, social and learning disabilities and their families. Slight adjustments to the performance will be implemented such as reduction in jarring sounds and elimination of strobe lights focused into the audience. The North American touring productions of THE LION KING have been seen by more than 20 million theatergoers. Having already played more than 70 cities across North America, THE LION KING now proudly makes another return to Seattle.

THE LION KING is part of the 2018/2019 KeyBank Broadway at The Paramount series, presented by Seattle Theatre Group, with support for the ninth year from KeyBank as the series title sponsor. Brotherton Cadillac is the official auto sponsor, The Hotel Theodore is the official sponsor hotel and Delta Airlines is the official airline sponsor of KeyBank Broadway at The Paramount.
