Stone Soup Theatre Presents Sam Shepard's FOOL FOR LOVE 2/19

By:

Stone Soup Theatre brings this haunting story, arguably Shepard's best known play, to the stage this February. Fool for Love is a story of obsession, love, denial, and the relationship between two people who can't live with or without each other.

Starring Annie Lareau as May and Anders Bolang as Eddie, and directed by Charlotte Tiencken, the story of two lovers who try to come to terms with their past is riveting and horrific, funny and bitter. Sex, love, hate, passion and jealousy are all here.

The New York Times called Fool for Love "a western for our time. We watch a pair of figurative gunslingers fight to the finish- not with bullets, but with piercing words that give ballast to the weight of a nation's buried dreams." Don't miss this little-produced one-act in an intimate setting.

The production runs Thursdays - Sundays, February 19 through March 14 with a preview date on Thursday, February 18 and Sunday matinee performances on February 28 and March 14. Eveningshowtimes are 8:00 pm, while matinees are at 4:00 pm.

General admission prices are $ 16-20; $ 13 for thoseunder 30. All Thursday evening performances are pay-what-you-will.

Tickets are available for purchase at www.brownpapertickets.com, 800-838-3006 orStone Soup Box Office (206) 633-1883; www.stonesouptheatre.org.
