By:
Featured Topic STEPHEN SONDHEIM More Coverage

Now in its seventh season, Seattle Women's Chorus is breaking new boundaries and winning new fans with every concert. They have grown to over 250 members strong and are cementing their reputation as one of America's top women's choruses. The 2009-2010 season features two terrific programs: a holiday concert that will fill audiences with warmth and merriment, and a summertime choral extravaganza celebrating the music of Sondheim and Bernstein. In this joint concert with Seattle Men's Chorus, and an anticipated 400 voices on stage in June, 2010, they are guaranteed to raise the rafters.

SWC is cooking up a menu of musical treats for the whole family, including a trio of mischievous singing chipmunks, a visit with the music of some unforgettable women singer-song writers like Mary Chapin Carpenter and Joni Mitchell, and an irreverent "Womyn's Winter Solstice Festival" that will leave your cheeks red with laughter.

12/11/09 (7:30 pm) - Edmonds - Edmonds Performing Arts Center
