Seattle Playwrights Salon presents TRAFFICK by Spencer Funk

Seattle Playwrights Salon and The Core Ensemble present a staged reading of Traffick by Spencer Funk on Friday December 8 at 7 p.m. at the Conservatory, 5813 Airport Way South, Seattle 98108. Admission is free! Beer, wine, cider, and food available for purchase before and after the show, and during intermission.

Two worlds collide in a gruesome thriller of blood and secrecy. A rogue agent from the NSA fights the bureaucracy and her husband's secrets, while two siblings in the slums of the Ukraine struggle for survival in the organ trade. TRAFFICK considers what it costs to stay alive.

Directed by Nick Vogl and starring Imani Woodley, Danny Willis, Marco Voli, Caroline Galyon, Drew Starmer, Daniel J. Lacker, and Heather Dawn Cook. Julia Holden-Hunkins reads stage directions.

The Conservatory is a Seattle art space and coffeehouse, community meeting place, and artists' workshop in Seattle's Georgetown neighborhood, a growing and glowing arts haven in Seattle near I-5, just north of Boeing Field. The Seattle Playwrights Salon produces new play readings and full productions on the second Friday of every month at The Conservatory to give local playwrights a public place to present new work in development to a live audience.
