Photo Flash: First Look- Tacoma Little Theatre's THE GREAT GATSBY
Below, get a first look at Tacoma Little Theatre's production of THE GREAT GATSBY!
Tacoma Little Theatre is proud to show their 12th Man Pride for the Seattle Seahawks. Due to overwhelming requests from our patrons who are also Seahawks fans, TLT has moved their matinee start time on Sunday, February 1, 2015 to 12:00pm (Noon), and are offering a special $12.00 ticket special for anyone who uses the code SEAHAWKS either at online checkout or with our box office (in person or over the phone). This special only applies to new ticket orders.
Considered by many to be the Great American Novel, The Great Gatsby is at once titillating, fascinating and shocking in its portrayal of The Jazz Age that was soon to disappear from the American landscape. In this first authorized adaptation since 1926, Simon Levy brings the humor, irony, pathos and loveliness of F. Scott Fitzgerald's American classic to the stage. Navigate the languid atmosphere of wealth and privilege with Nick Carraway as he observes the glittering, elaborate parties of his neighbor, the infamous and illusive Jay Gatsby. The Great Gatsby's sharp depiction of the "American Dream" resonates anew for each generation.
The Great Gatsby will run Friday, January 23, 2015 until Sunday, February 8, 2015. Friday and Saturday showings are at 7:30pm and Sundays at 2:00pm except for Sunday, February 1, which will be at 12:00pm (NOON). This show is recommended for ages 12 and up.
There will also be a special school day matinee performance of The Great Gatsby on Thursday, January 29th. For more information please contact TLT directly.
Tickets are $22.00-$15.00 and may be purchased online at www.tacomalittletheatre.com, or by calling our Box Office at (253) 272-2281. Group rates are available for 10 or more, and special FLEX passes for 6 are only $120.00.
