Arouet presents Frankie and Johnny in the Clair de Lune by Terrence McNally. Directed by Roy Arauz. Johnny is certain he has found his soul mate in Frankie. Frankie is far more cautious and disinclined to jump to conclusions. A witty love story about what it takes to overcome our fears and take a chance on love. Winner of the Dramatists Guild Hull Warriner Award.

ABOUT
Frankie and Johnny (...) stars Meredith Binder as Frankie and Greg LoProto as Johnny. Meredith is a Seattle actress, screenwriter and filmmaker, recently seen on stage in Amniotes at Irrealist Theatre and The Best Christmas Pageant Ever at Attic Theatre. Her acting film credits include the Northwest Film Forum's multiple award winning Naked Proof (SIFF 2004) and The Oregonian (Sundance 2011). Her original short films Rent's Due (One Reel 2004), Alistair MacLean: Y'did Nefesh and Remember Me have all won awards and gained distribution. Greg, a newcomer to the Seattle stage, was seen last season in One Shot Production's Troilus and Cressida and Open Circle Theatre's Bullied by the Beast. He also directed Coming Clean and The 8: Reindeer Monologues at Driftwood Players.

Roy Arauz, a producer, director, choreographer, and stage manager, has worked at Balagan Theatre, SecondStory Repertory, and Snoqualmie Falls Forest Theatre, among others. He is Company Stage Manager and Director in Training for Theatre 9/12. Directing credits include Chess at Redwood Theatre, Annie at Driftwood Players and The Butler Did It at Valley Community Players. In 2010 he created Arouet, to present works that speak of civil rights, tolerance, freedom of and from religion, social justice, and celebration of our differences. Frankie and Johnny (...) is Arouet's premiere production.
