Lakewood Playhouse to Present A YEAR WITH FROG & TOAD, 12/11-21

The Lakewood Playhouse will present its THIRD ANNUAL "Special" JOINT PRESENTATON with its very own LAKEWOOD INSTITUTE of THEATRE - "A YEAR with FROG & TOAD: The Musical!" for 10 SHOWS ONLY! This wonderful, heartwarming and whimsical musical is based on the beloved children's books by Arnold Lobel - Book & Lyrics by Willie Reale / Music by Robert Reale. The Show will be performed on Thursdays, Fridays & Saturdays at 7:00pm and Sundays at 2:00pm.

Ticket Prices are $20.00 for Adults and $15.00 for Students & Children. Directed by JEREMY THOMPSON, with Musical Direction by DIANE BOZZO and Choreography by MAURA BOZZO - This joyful, Holiday Musical promises to be wonderful experience for the WHOLE FAMILY!!

The show has a HUGE CAST of over 20 Actors and Actresses...both young and old...from old favorites to new. Our cast includes performances by returning Actors, and Directors, such as RACHAEL FITZGERALD (Toad) [Director of Twelfth Night], COLEMAN HAGERMAN (Frog) [Something Wicked This Way Comes, Oliver!, Monty Python's Spamalot and Little Women], KAREN CHRISTENSEN (Bird 1), [Sweeney Todd], ERIN DEES (Bird 2), ABBY WEBSTER (Bird 3), CHARLIE STEVENS (Snail) [Oliver!], NINA FOWLER (Mouse), KATELYN HOFFMAN (Turtle) [Play It Again Sam, The Farnsworth Invention and Pride & Prejudice], GABI MARLER (Lizard), LYDIA HELT (Squirrel / Mole 1), EVELYN HELT (Squirrel / Mole 2), PENELOPE VENTURINI (Young Frog), JAMES VENTURINI (Father Frog), [Director of The Musical Comedy Murders of 1940 Our The Annual LIVE RADIO Show], MARCY VENTURINI (Mother Frog), JULIE COLE (The Littles Mom) -and- THE LITTLES: JJ Greenwell, Augusta Greenwell, Cordelia Greenwell and Elia Aguiler [All in Last Year's Chronicles of Narnia.

Just the Story for the ENTIRE FAMILY during the HOLIDAY SEASON! Arnold Lobel's well-loved characters hop from the page to the stage in Robert and Willie Reale's Tony-nominated musical "A Year with Frog and Toad." This whimsical show follows two great friends--the cheerful, popular Frog and the rather grumpy Toad--through four, fun-filled seasons. TICKETS are sure to GO FAST for this Treat for the WHOLE FAMILY!
