ArtsWest to Present WONDERFUL LIFE

By:

George Bailey's struggle to grasp why life is worth living finds a fresh voice in this imaginative one-person retelling of Frank Capra's classic film It's a Wonderful Life. Penned by Helen Pafumi and Jason Lott, this memory play introduces a new generation to the residents of Bedford Falls, New York on a fateful Christmas Eve in 1945. Wonderful Life is a heartwarming story about the effect one man's sacrifices have on the people and town he loves.

Starring in ArtsWest's production of Wonderful Life is Andrew Lee Creech in his ArtsWest debut. His work as both writer and performer has been seen on stages throughout Seattle as well as in Texas. He was last seen as Sam and Scratchy in ACT Theatre's stunning Mr. Burns, a post-electric play. Other recent credits include Passing Strange (Sidecountry Theatre/ACT), Girl, You Know It's True (TOJ, Gypsy Rose Lee Award nomination), andTrouble in Mind (Intiman Theatre). He received his BFA from Cornish College of the Arts.

Wonderful Life plays December 3 - 27, 2015 at ArtsWest Playhouse and Gallery (4711 California Ave SW, Seattle WA 98116). No shows December 24th and 25th. Tickets (ranging from $17 - $37.50) are on sale now and may be purchased online atwww.artswest.org or by phone at 206.938.0339, or at the box office Thursday - Saturday 1:30 - 7:30 p.m. and Sunday 10:30 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.
