'Altar Boyz' Blesses the Pantages!

By:

The hilarious spoof on the fictional Christian boy band, "Altar Boyz" is heading to the Pantages Theater in Tacoma and pray you don't miss it.  Appearing for one night only, April 7th at 7:30PM, the Boyz will be here to rock the house down and save a few souls in the process.

The show centers around the five members of the band, Matthew, Mark, Luke, Juan and Abraham ("He's Jewish!" as the Boyz point out during the opening number).  All of whom are here to share their love of Jesus and redeem us sinners in their supposed last stop of their national "Raise the Praise" tour.  But over the course of the show secrets from the band begin to tumble out which may split them up forever.

This award winning show, which has been running Off-Broadway since 2005, is sure to be a fun evening for the entire family with their rockin' and hysterical tunes like "Girl, you make me wanna wait" and "Jesus called me on my cell phone" and sinfully spectacular dancing that would put 'N Sync to shame.  Justin Timberlake has nothing over the Boyz.

Razor sharp parody, sweet harmonies, and hot dance numbers, all rolled up in this wholesomely sexy package.  What more can you ask for?  A blessing from God?  You never know, he may just show up.

"Altar Boyz" runs April 7th at 7:30PM at the Pantages Theater in Tacoma.  For tickets and information call the box office at 253-591-5894 or go online at  www.broadwaycenter.org
