Varietè Shows

The beauty of an exciting Comedy/Varietè show is that each act is given eight to 12 minutes to capture the audience with their skill, humor, and daring - be it aerial, acrobatics, clowning, rope tricks, sketch comedy, juggling, dancing, singing, magic, puppetry, or astonishing bubbles. The pace is quick. The Master of Ceremonies orchestrates the constant action and the live show band provides an underlying pulse that propels the hour and a half show. People from all walks of life and from all age groups laugh together, appreciating a wide range of the weird and wonderful acts on stage. A true camaraderie exists among these artists who are rarely in the same town at the same time. There is great joy in performing for each other and mingling with northwest artists and Seattle audiences benefit from the fun. The Varietè shows are for all-ages, with the exception of the 10:30 pm Late Night Varietè (21+).

Burlesque Shows (18+)

There was a time in America when Burlesque artists and Varietè artists shared the stage. At some point the vaudeville theaters decided to make their shows "more respectable" and so began the great divide. The producers of The Moisture Festival made their own decision to bring Varietè and Burlesque back together on stage - knowing that Seattle audiences would love the combination and that the artists would appreciate the collaboration. The Burlesque scene in Seattle is ripe with creativity. These local performers relish the edge and fearlessly explore sexual humor. Their talent is renowned and they are represented all across the country. They consistently have garnered a top spot in the Las Vegas Miss Exotic World Pageant. Combine these Burlesque stars with the Varietè artists, whose material and humor not only cross the line but mock the idea that there is a line, and you have The Moisture Festival's Libertease Burlesque Shows. If you are 18 years or older, buy a ticket and fasten your seat belt.
