Eleanor Morton, a stand-up, writer and actor from Edinburgh, performs a stand-up show about mermaids and why she wants to be one, despite not being able to swim. The show blends mythology, history, and folklore with her own experiences to explore fear-based sex education, medical gender bias, beauty standards, and society's confusion around what it means to be a woman. Morton is known for her online sketch characters and has performed tour support for Josie Long, Frankie Boyle, and others, with sell-out runs at the Edinburgh Fringe since 2014. The show runs Wednesday through Sunday at 1pm for 55 minutes.
