Surreally Good is a one-man show written, devised and performed by Scott Turnbull, directed and co-written by Ed Gaughan, with original music by Jeremy Bradfield. The show follows Scott Turnbull, the finest Edutainment Officer in the business, as he navigates grief and his own artistic sensibilities within a corporate framework, taking audiences on an illustrated journey through the world of a charming yet unreliable narrator. Winner of Best Performance at Newcastle Fringe, the show blends surreal humour, lo-fi storytelling, and overhead animation. Turnbull's theatrical style was developed alongside Selma Dimitrijevic and Lorne Campbell, and the show is rooted in community and place.
